Re: Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer Tutorial

ok. got it.

With both the Pandora's Jigstick Magic Mem creator downloaded from page 1 and the Easy GUI creator posted by OldGit9 (post # 33).....which is the one that I can use to create the magic MS without the PSP? By just plugging in the MS with a card reader directly into my PC....

thankx

EDIT: I looks like everything is with the format and installation for the files in the MS, now whenever i try to run the Pandaro Battery Creator...it gives me an error "This game could not be started (80020148)".

I have tried with both the 1.50 and 4.XX setting. Also with and without a UMD. any ideas?

Re: Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer Tutorial

Hi Gandalf,

You've never let me down so I'm back again.

A while ago you helped me get my PSP phat to custom firmware 4.01m33-2.

I noe believe that there is custom firmware 5 now available.

Do I need ot move on to it & if so do I just have to connect wirelessly & will it automatically update like before when I went from 3.9 to 4.01m33-2?

Thanks in advance.

yes there is a new custom firmware available. it's v5.00m33-3.

you can either manually install it (have a look at this guide "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]") or you can do the network update. personally, i would rather do the manual install. that way, your sure to install the custom firmware and not the official update.

there is nearly no difference between v5.00m33-3 and v4.01m33-3. but some of the new games like spider-man, require v4.05 to play.

As Oldgit said there is not that much difference between the 2 and 4.01m33-2 seems to be a lot more stable then the 5.00m33-3 altho I have not really run across any problems. As long as you are not restricted to any of your games, at this time I would just stay at 4.01m33-2 unless you just want the newest that is out.

To insure that you are getting the proper upgrade on the network update you will have a real quick one when you are at the network update section. When you go to install it it will say that you need another update file and this will be a long download(it's the official 5.00 update needed for the 5.00m33-3 install). After that then it will continue with an official looking update.

Re: Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer Tutorial

Thanks for all the help.

I think I'll stay at 4.01m33-2 as I am still only playing Tiger Woods '09.

Is there a site I can go to to keep up to date with any new version of the firmware?

Thanks again.
