Re: Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer Tutorial

hmm, ok. I was just wondering because pandora battery is being sold around 50-75 bucks on ebat, when datel battery is being sold around 30-50 bucks, but most people tend to bid or purchase the pandora battery for some reason.

A lot of the pandora batteries are actually Sony batteries and the Datel is a different brand(Datel). They both work the same.

and with the one's that i have seen on ebay and amazon, the battery also comes with the magic stick (mem card for the pandora's battery). so you don't have the worry or hassle in making one.

What did you use to make the memory stick with?? It sounds like the format and/or the writing of the ipl is not correct.

If you are using Vista then all the mem stick makers are going to give you problems. Some people have said that they have no problems at all but most cannot get it to work right. When they move to a XP machine they have no problems at all. Try this app: http://www.pspcrazy.com/forums/local...d=439&catid=20

This to will give you problems on a machine running Vista. Using XP is practically effortless. Download app, unrar and double click the .exe file to install the app. After install follow the readme included in the rar file and copy the 3 .pbp files to the appropriate folders. Turn on the psp, place the memory stick that you are going to use and connect to computer via USB. Open app and make sure that it has your psp drive letter in the drive box on top. After that follow the numbers and follow exactly and in a few minutes you will have a pandora memory stick ready for use. I have found this program to be the easiest pandora memory stick maker for the newcomers to the PSP.

You will need to select either the 3.71m33 or 3.80m33 for use on the slim. I suggest the 3.80m33.

Please post back with your progress.

Forget that. I have no idea why but that program seems to be talking about making a pandora battery and it does not have anything to do with it.

Install the program and copy the 3 .pbp files to the appropriate folders as stated in the readme file in the rar file. Place the memory stick that you are going to use in your PSP, turn on PSP and connect to computer via USB. Open the program up and check to see that it has selected your PSP's drive letter in the top Drive select section. If it has, then follow the numbers thru each step and that's it. Be sure to follow the steps in red just like it says and all should be good, you can also skip the last 2 buttons on the bottom as they will not be needed for what you are doing.

Re: Pandora's Jigkick + Magic Memory Card Easy Installer Tutorial

excuse the nooooob question, but I bought two pandora batts w/ mem stick off ebay (one with 3.71 & 3.80 and the other one has 3.90) - wanted to make my own pandora batts - but wanted to know if I can simply COPY the contents of these mem sticks onto ANOTHER mem stick i.e. the 3.71 stick onto another one - just a straight copy/paste so that I have two......

as for the battry - will the program do it by itself or does one need to open it up?

oh and BTW - yes, it works fine if you use the NO UMD option (have two fats that I converted - just bought a slim psp to convert soooooon)
