check the kernal setting in the recovery menu. it should be set to what ever firmware that your on and not "kernal 150". then try again.

Download this: View Comments and Ratings - PSP Crazy Forums - PSP Games, PSP Downloads, PSP News, and PSP Themes

unrar and rename the EBOOT.PBP to 401.PBP and place in the UPDATE folder that you put in the GAME folder(the one that has the updater in it that you are trying to run).

Is it still giving you the same error? If so then you probably have the file named 401.PBP.PBP. This will happen if you have extensions hidden in windows, if so just rename to 401 The .PBP is hidden and it will put itself there.

Have you tried changing the UMD ISO driver?? Don't know about Jackass but Tekken works perfectly on my 4.01m33-2, both phat and slim.

No need to downgrade. Has to be a setting problem or iso transfer problem. Try saving everything off of the memory stick and formatting with the PSP and then copy back.
