Also re download the 5.00 official update. If you have a wireless connection go to Network Update and do it there, since 3.80m33 Dark Alex changed the network update to go to his server to get updates instead of Sony to make updating easier.

| Re: [Guide] How to manually install custom firmware v5.00m33-6 i have the 5.03 HEN firmware, can i use this update? using the same method or i have to go back to version 5.00? i dont like the HEN cuz i have to refrain it from turning off the psp.. |

| Administrator ![]() ![]() | Re: [Guide] How to manually install custom firmware v5.00m33-6 You would have to use Hellcats Recovery flasher to do it thru 5.03 HEN. That is only possible if your PSP is capable of running a completely flashed cfw. If it is a new slim or a PSP3000 it will brick if you attempt to flash a cfw on it so be careful there is no way to unbrick!!
