Download the PC version to build your image, it's much easier, then copy the finished image to the PSP.

Bulldog's Comments
I will try to reply to any questions about Emulators (with the exception of how to get copyrighted games for them). There are many more where that came from I will revise this thread as time permits...

I would like to invite everyone to read my howto on configuring DOSBox for both the PC and the PSP using the PSP memory card. This allows you to do software installs and configuring on the PC and then once a game is working, you can play it on the PSP. Here is the link to my howto post:

Please, check it out and let me know what you think!

Here are some other threads I have started:

You forgot about Daedalus for some of those who are adventurous enough to try playing an N64 game.

Can the PC emulators run Arena yet?

Re: Bulldog's List of Emulators for PSP

I haven't mentioned N64 as I thought it would be a waste of time, since I don't think there is an emulator that can run it at full speed. As for the PC emulator, I kind of gave up on playing with it because I hate the keyboard emulator on the PSP. Plus, if I remember right I couldn't get sound to work on it.

You asked for Spectrum? You got it! I just added that and some others to my first post. Check them out...

If you don't know about the Spectrum, here is a link to the Wikipedia article on it...

I had trouble also, until I discovered the port offered by this development team. There was an older one from a different team that had a bunch of different versions that each only emulated certain types of arcade machines. It was very lame. This one worked decent when I first found it but some games were not fully working. The compatibility is MUCH improved now. If you need roms search for a torrent for mame4all. You should be able to find one with all the roms but it won't be for the psp. Just get it anyway and copy the roms folder.
