psx eboot icon problem

I've downloaded some psx eboots (suikoden, breath of fire IV, chrono trigger etc), they work fine on my psp (cfw 3.90m33) thing is I don't like the icons for it. I can extract the iso's and put my own on and remake the eboot just fine except the game won't load on my psp.

Same popsloader, same game id they just won't work, is there anyway to fix this or should I stick with the icon's they came with?

It may have something to do with the size of the icon or the size of the icon file. Personally I just leave them be as you don't just sit there and look at them, they're on the screen long enough to scroll through them or select it.
