Help (with upgrading my outdated homebrew, removing files)

Hello everyone

I haven't used my PSP in a while but I would like to use it again. I bought a PSP about 2 years ago ( When it got released in Europe ) I've downgraded it to 1.50 and used differen't homebrews multiple times. At this very moment my PSP is running 3.10 OE-A ( I guess that's the one from Dark Alex ). I'm guessing that's pretty old since I havent used my PSP for over 6 months.

So my question is..

Since I'm pretty confused with all the new homebrews etc.. would anyone be kind enough to tell me where to start from 3.10 OE-A to the latest homebrew/firmwire? Also, I have a lot of files on my memory stick and I'm not sure which files I can delete and which not. Are there any type of files I shouldent touch? And I have some unremoveable damaged files in my memory stick that I never bothered to look into. Is there any way to remove damaged files that say they are not removable from your memory stick?

I'd much appreciate any help!

Just create a folder on your desktop and save the entire contents of the memory stick for now then reformat the memory stick with the PSP.

Use this guide [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to do a manual upgrade to 4.01m33-2(Still Dark Alex).

You will upgrade in steps 3.52m33 release, 3.52m33-4, then 4.01m33-2.
