StarWars Slim without Pandora?

I have a white Star Wars edition PSP, I'll be getting my hands on it tomorrow. I have never upgraded the firmware on it I don't believe, and so it should be with whatever it came with. I have done some searching on the forum and everyone agrees there are no problems hacking the white Vader PSP like I have. My question is this:

Can I use the same exact methods that I used for my previous phat black PSP? --

This method worked absolutely perfectly on my 3.40 OFW PSP phat. I really don't want to purchase a MMS or Pandora right now, as I'm broke, so I am hoping you guys say the above method works just as well with this white slim. I will know the OFW it is running tomorrow, but like I said, in the meantime I think it should be with whatever it came with (which I know is hackable.)

Is there anything else I should be weary of? Is running 5.00M33-6 a bad idea with a slim? Thanks in advance!

Re: StarWars Slim without Pandora?

I didn't check the link but if it is the ChickHEN exploit and the Hellcat's Recovery Flasher then you are correct as long as the firmware is 5.03 or less. You would have to upgrade to 5.03 in order to run it. If it is above 5.03 then the pandora battery and magic memory stick is the only method. 5.00m33-6 is perfectly fine and stable for the slim.

Re: StarWars Slim without Pandora?

Okay thanks! I got the CFW on my slim without any problem whatsoever.

Now here's the deal:

I currently now have both a phat black PSP with 5.00M33-6 and a slim also with the same CFW: 5.00M33-6

Originally I was using the phat and playing my games on that, but now I want to switch over to the slim to play
them. Both already have Popsloader installed, so here's my question -- Can I just simply swap the memory card
with the games and saves from the phat to the slim? Or is there more to it then that??

Please let me know anything I may need to know!

Thank you!

Yes, but you will have to go into the recovery menu and enable the popsloader, that is controlled by the PSP and not the memory stick.
