Those are not needed any more and actually obsolete. Games now run from within the custom firmware itself.

A Pandora battery and magic memory stick are the only way. Now if it is a brand new slim that came with 4.01 on it there is a possibility it could have the motherboard that renders it unhackable at the moment, but the developers are working on it.

Re: UMD Emu v8.0c Tut

no i have the old fat model but i updated my firmware to 5.01 recently
i have already made a magic memory stick by using an a unbrinker but when i try to open the pandora's battery file it says the game could not be started the data is corrupted
i also tried putting 5.00m33 that you have put up but it says the same thing?
what should i do? and is there any way to play isos or any other type of psp game files that does nto need pandora's battry?

The only way that the pandora battery program will run is on custom firmware as it is homebrew and it can not be run on official firmware. The same goes for the update to 5.00m33-3, it will only run on a PSP running custom firmware.

If you know someone that has a PSP running a custom firmware they can run the battery program for you to convert the battery. Otherwise you will have to make a hardmod(which is opening up the battery and doing a modification) or to purchase one online thru the likes of ebay or amazon.
