my 1 gig memory stick isn't saving my game data, what do i do? i don't want to format it because i have to go to a friends house to get music on the thing and i don't want to do that again

I presume you have a card reader? Then WHY NOT transfer the music files over to your PC, format and transfer back? Or do you mean you do not have a card reader or something? Elaborate more.

Well first off are you sure that you have enough space on the card to make the save? I mean you did say that you had some music on it.
