| GamingCrazy Newbie | could anyone direct me to a good place to read up on home brew and how it works and such...........reason im looking is because i would love to tweak my psp and do stuff with it but im not to secure about my own abilities and etc................so any advice would be helpfulll |

| GamingCrazy Elite ![]() | Re: could anyone direct me to a good place to read It is really easy to do homebrew on your psp, but first you have to have the right firmware. What firmware do you have. You probably have the sony's official firmware. You will need to downgrade it. You can look in the tutorial section for more info. Homebrew is really easy on the psp. You download the homebrew online and then copy it a specific place in your psp memory card and you are set. |

Do you have the slim or the phat? What firmware version is it? If it is the fat then you might be able to downgrade using a different method. It depend on what firmware you have. If you have the new firmware then you will have to use the pandora method. |

| GamingCrazy Newbie | Re: could anyone direct me to a good place to read hey thanks for all the replies but unfourtanately i do not have a friend that owns one and well........how much r batteries..........i own the slim and am running 3.73.....so i gather that the only way to run homebrew anythhing involves this battery method? my eyes r getting ready to give up i have been on the web since midnight last night reading everything i can get my hands on as far as the net goes so if u all could keep replying and discussing it it would be very helpfull thank you |
