Re: SBrown's Apps Proj.4:replacesXMB+ UnlimitedVid:high res convter+ PSPTUBE!12/22 12

OK i kind of got it installed but...i can only see the usbhost file not another file on my computer???
First of i am in section 7.2.1 in the IR Shell 3.81 User Guide. I have the driver downloaded. And i opened the usbhostfs.exe and then selected "Toggle USBHost" on my psp. And then a window pop up on my computer saying New Hardware found. So i selected "yes, now and forever" in the new hardware found installation.(i should have selected "no, not now" right? at least that's what i have been told i should have selected) Is there anyway i can reinstall the driver or don't i even have to reinstall it? and select no, not now? Thanks

That is a good question. I'm kinda tired tonight, but tomorrow, once I get home from work, I'll find out how to fix it and let you know.

EDIT: But b4 I get too deep into figuring out how to undo that. Try going to My Control Panel" and select "add hardware". From there follow that original directions in the irshell user guide. Let me know if that does or doesn't work

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was so busy this week and I though that it would take forever to remember/research how to change the driver. Turns out that I think I got it on my first try which took about 1 min. lol. Anyways try this:

Warning
: Use at your own risk. I've never completely tried this on my own psp before. All I did was the steps below (except #9, obviously). I don't see how this process could hurt anything, but I want you to be aware that I don't know what will happen when your done. In my opinion the worst case scenario would be that usb host still doesn't work; but thats just my opinion. In the odd case anything worse happens, I'll do everything in my power to help you get things back the way they were.

With that being said, lets get started:
  1. Have your psp plugged in / set-up just like you were starting from the beginning of IRSHELL's steps.
  2. Open your Start Menu
  3. Right click "My Computer"
  4. Click "Manage"
  5. On the left side of the screen select "Device Manager" which is under the "System Tools" directory
  6. Click the "+" button to the left of "Disc Drives"
  7. Locate your psp drive (should say "Sony PSP USB Device") and right click it.
  8. Select "Update Driver" from that menu.
  9. from there follow the steps from IRSHELL's User Guide
If you have any questions, post them here and I'll do my best to answer them.

Re: SBrown's Apps: Updated Daily

Don't worry about the usbhost problem i had with v3.71 IR Shell because i update me psp to 3.80 M33 and v3.81 Ir shell does not on CFW 3.80 M33. They are coming out with a IR shell that will work for 3.80 M33 but that will be the final release they say... Thanks for all your help.
