Before jumping to any conclusions, nearly all consoles sold significantly less than they did during the month of March. That having been said, the PSP sold 193,000 units as opposed to 297,000 units the previous month, down about 35%.Depsite all of this, the PSP was still the best non-Nintendo product, outselling the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 2 once again. It’s interesting to note that the Xbox 360 and PS3 were neck and neck with each other in terms of sales.
In other news, Grand Theft Auto 4 was a huge software seller, pushing 1.85 copies on the Xbox 360, while the Playstation 3 only sold about half of that with 1 million copes. Sandwitched in bewteen was Mario Kart Wii, which sold 1.12 copies.
