Ever since Phil Harrison quit Sony Company Entertainment Worldwide studios (among holding many other titles at the company) to leave for Atari, Kazuo Hirai had been his temporary replacement. Today, all of that changes.
Shughui Yoshida, one of the founding fathers of SCE International in 1996, has now been declared the new president of SCE Worldwide Studios. In the past, some of his key positions includes working at SCEA and becoming the Senior Vice President of the US studios.
With all of the experience and history that Yoshida had under his belt, we hope that he will be a good longterm replacement for the late Harrison.
