Here's the thing. As far back as 2005, there were rumblings of a PSP DMC. We even thought that they'd make an announcement for the series at TGS back in 2006, but that never really came to pass. Two years later, this pops up, but it could just be an unchanged announcement from way back when.

What's weird, however, is that this site listing keeps getting updated with new Capcom PSP games, but that one notice has never been taken down. Here's to hoping it actually means what we all hope it does: that Dante will be doing crazy killer combos on the PSP.

maybe it'll come at last... havent heard from this title in forever.

I think dmc would make a great handheld game. dmc 1 and 3 are my favorites, 2 was okay and 4 was pretty good but did kinda..I dont know, it was sort of a letdown in a way. and Ive always thought that beyond looking amazing, dmc never really needed to be on a console with its style of gameplay

Who thinks it will just be a PS2 port? i hope it is a new game tho that would be sweet but the PSP likes to port there games

From my understanding that has been on that board for quite a while. I Emailed them and they said they weren't thinking about makeing a DMC game. That could just be because am just an average joe and they dont want to get any info about the game out or it could be the truth.

I agree that it would be better played as a handheld game. That would be real koo if it did come out on psp. Even if it were not thinkin bout puttin it on psp i think that it is something that they should really consider doing.
