If you’ve been down about the nothing good to see here update worry no more as we might just have a hint of good news to cure that. After taking a look at Sony’s Knowledge Center it appears we have spotted this under new features for 4.05

Support for PLAYSTATION®Store Movies and TV video service.

As already known Sony will be launching it’s video service later this summer, and it looks like the PSP will be able to access this feature from day one...hopefully! Click the source link to see this timbit of info yourself.

That would be sweet. It's the kind of thing Sony need to add to the PSP (and ZOMG - something good in an update?

I think its only for the japanese psps.
