| Final Fantasy Dissidia will be containing data install ![]() The PSP is rapidly resembling the PS3. Final Fantasy Dissidia, a game that will be coming out for PSP, is going to have "data install", an option that will allow players to decrease loading times by saving key information to the memory stick. Another game to take advantage of this is Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, and hopefully the upcoming Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Reading data off the memory stick is faster than reading the UMD, as most of you know. A player will be able to choose three diferent amounts of memory to be used, such as 245mb to 528mb for those with smaller memory sticks. Undoubtedly players in Japan will just buy the game on the Playstation store to have the best load times possible, since the entire game will be on the memory stick. | Re: Final Fantasy Dissidia will be containing data install I don't like the sound of that. For gamers such as myself who play from UMDs, it will take forever to load a map or switch screens. Not mentioning that the battles may lag too. On the other hand, seeing the Dissidia trailer featuring Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, it does look pretty good. One thing I don't understand is how it is possible to avoid death by grabbing some items or severely wounding your opponent. A new battle system? |
