I believe the serial for the new PSPgo is PSP n1000. It's not the next PSP and it isnt meant to replace the 3000 but is targeted for people who use audio and video media. Games can be played using PSN. Many people here were complaining that they wouldnt be able to play MHP2ndG (Monster hunter Freedom Unite for the US) because the PSPgo doesnt have a UMD slot. at 25600yen I think I'll wait for the 4k and If I want a 16gig HD I'll just grab a Sony 16gig ProDuo at the friendly neighborhood Electronics store

Since it will have no UMD, I suppose it will have a longer battery life. I wonder if they have upped the screen brightness or gotten rid of the black zigzags that the psp3000 unfortunately has?

It has a new "usb" plug that comes with the PSP go. Somehow it downloads games. The games are not shareable with other PSP which makes more money for developers. Will there be more games like IPhone? Maybe that will help make PSPgo more popular and more profitable?

The PSPgo is Sony copying the way IPhone/Itouch makes money.

...is it true that if you sign up with your country of origin being europe you get 4 free games?...also on the issues of games...are they like region specific, that is to say, if you got a psp go from america, could you play european games?...
