Bits of details have been emerging and surfacing that Kojima productions has begun making a sequel to the highly-acclaimed and highly selling Portable Ops game that was popular on the PSP.
Though details on this are highly scarce though:

"Metal Gear Solid news and media have been rather abundant at TGS this year, but there’s even more announcements to be made. It appears to be the case that Kojima Productions has started work on a new PSP game: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops 2. We assume that this title will follow the story of the previous Portable Ops game, though as of right now, details are few and far between. More information can be found on Ashley Wood’s blog, the graphic artist who has worked with Kojima Productions for the distinctive, brush-stroke drawings of the Metal Gear Solid comic book and Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphic Novel as well as the cut-scenes of MGS:Portable Ops."

Thanks for the great news. I still can't wait until November to get Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus though. It sucks it is already out in Japan .
