What a doozie! DaX decided to release two updates for his homebrew applications in one day, and neither are anything to smirk at!
To begin, we shall start off with the Despertar del Cementerio v5, also known as the universal unbricker. If you don’t know what it still is, it’s pretty much a last resort to revive a homebrew-enabled PSP. Be wary, the installation process is quite conplicated and confusing. Anyways, here is the changelog:
- Now installs 3.90 M33-3 instead of 3.80 M33-5
- Integration with time machine in case it is installed.
Yeah, it may be pretty short, but if you think about it, the upgrade itself is pretty substantial, the first being the lesser of the two. The second, if you notice, is another one of DaX’ creations, the Time Machine, which basically allows Slim users the ability to run custom firmware. Meaning, this app now works for Slims!
Moving on, the update that will most likely affect more people on a much bigger scale. Yes, I am talking about the release of 3.9m33 v3! Unfortunately, the update itself is somewhat minor, but it may be handy for those who use the feature. This is all that’s in the changelog
- M33 noumd driver compatibiilty has increased to support games like Coded Arms, Patapon, Harvest Moon Innocent Life and probably others affected by same errors.
Like I said, pretty small. But, nice to have nonetheless. Remember, you can update the old-fashioned way, or if you have 3.8m33 or above, you can use wifi to system update your cfw to download and install it from there.
For both, make sure you read the readme before attempting installation.
