Re: PSP Comics Reader

Hi, I Am Newbie here, i need a help and this is my first post
I Got an error code when i try to open psp comics viewer : 8002014c

My Psp FW is : 3.90 M33-3 (Slim One)

And i Allready follow your instruction, and read the readme from the sw :

Spoiler
To install this program, you must have either firmware 1.50, any custom
firmware, or any other firmware that can emulate firmware 1.50 through DevHook
(such as 2.71 running Homebew Enabler (HEN)). To install this program, place the
folders pspcomic and pspcomic% from the 1.50 folder in the /PSP/GAME folder if
you are running or emulating firmware 1.50 or if you have your custom firmware
set to 1.50 kernel mode. If you are using the 3.xx version, place the folder
pspcomic from the 3.xx folder in the /PSP/GAME folder. If you have your custom
firmware in 3.xx mode, put the folders pspcomic and pspcomic% from the folder
1.50 in the /PSP/GAME150 folder. If you have your custom firmware in 1.50 mode
and wish to use the 3.xx version, put it in the /PSP/GAME3xx folder where xx is
the last two digits of whichever custom firmware you are using. E.g., if you are
using 3.90 M33, the folder would be /PSP/GAME390. You must use the 3.xx version
if you are using a Slim PSP.
But there is no GAME390 Folder on my psp, i made it and it still not work. Help Please

PS : I am from Indonesia, so my english not perfect

Re: PSP Comics Reader

Save everything and reformat the memory stick with the PSP, then copy everything back, you have not done this as the GAME390 folder would have been made for you. Reformatting with the PSP will correct some of the read problems that occur.

Actually it sounds like you are using the 1.50 version. Does the folders for the comic book reader have any files or folders with a % sign in them, if so then you are trying to run the 1.50 version on a slim and it will not work. Get the 3.xx version and try again. That error code is for trying to run a non supported version of homebrew.

Re: PSP Comics Reader

Step 3
How do I make the .zip file into a readable comics file?
OK, remember the PSP Comics application we downloaded and installed? Well, it ONLY reads .CBR and .CBZ
files. These are two common file types for comics/mangas. This is so gee-whiz that you will laugh...
rename the extension for the comic file that you downloaded:
From .ZIP to .CBZ or
From .RAR to .CBR
Now you will have either a .CBZ or a .CBR file that the PSP Comics application understands how to read.
Wasn't that easy? Now copy it to the Comics folder on your memory stick and go read it!
