Nice Program to Crop Images Here and Make Wallpapers (Besides Photoshop)

A nice program that will crop images (Jpgs). Just go to the Preferences and add an aspect ratio of 480x272 and use that. Then you can load the images in the program and choose what part of the image you want to keep.

Then you can use a program like Irfanview to resize the image (just make sure you resample the image).

Or you can just use Irfanview to resize it without croping it or changing it's aspect ratio, the only problem is it can end up looking a bit distorted/stretched.

another good program is the gimp, its free and maybe even better than photoshop
hard to get used to using it but when u know how to use it you can make great things

if you have windows go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

i think using the newiest version of photoshop is best. The newiest version is CS2, which is what i use. althou, it is very expensive.

yea well the gimp is free and is better then photoshop
