| Re: How to Create Your Own XMB Right, i've read through the guide acouple times and will be trying my first XMB theme soon =]. Just a couple of questions. What CFW is this compatably with? I'm running 3.80 and seeing as none of the XMB themes from 3.71 will run on 3.80 will i have to downgrade to test my theme? and if this is for 3.71 then does anyone know if their is guide for converting to 3.80? | GamingCrazy Guru ![]() | Re: How to Create Your Own XMB Actually that's not true for the most part some themes can be used on 3.80M33 1-5 it's just that the way the FW is built when you access F0 with your USB connection you cannot see some of the folders however they are still when you go to replace the module folder on the F0 it will actually overwrite the folder but just updated the files inside with the ones made for the theme. That's if your doing it on the PC side, on the Mac side al the files are locked and read only but you can see them, if you try to overwrite them you will be promted for your password to authenticate the process, however if you look at the file you replaced it did not actually get replaced.

| GamingCrazy Guru ![]() | Re: How to Create Your Own XMB Well to be honest you can use anything he has written here for any firmware. Just rememeber to use Decrypted files for each firmware otherwise you may have some issues getting these to work. Right now I'm working on updating a theme from 3.80 to 3.90.
