Do not turn off your psp. Let it go untill it asks for you to restart manually.
Check your PSP Settings and you should be back at 1.5
Now you have a choice of staying at 1.5 or going back up again to 3.40 OE-A.
OR
Get your flash0 backup
Take the system_plugin_bg.rco from your back up
Go to recovery and open up your flash0
Go to flash0:\VSH\Resource
Replace the system_plugin_bg.rco with your backup
III. The Volume Bar
First Open your flash0:/vsh/resource folder and find impose_plugin.rco and drag and drop it into our RCOEdit
Now, create a new folder on your desktop, I made mine "My Volume Icons"
Now that you got that done, go back to RCOEdit and press the "Extract all..." button
It should open a window, so point to the new folder you made and press OK
Ok, now open the "My Volume Icons" folder that you made and scroll all the way down. You will find tex_volume_bar.8bit.bmp, tex_volume_bar.32bit.bmp, tex_volume_dot.8bit.bmp, and tex_volume_dot.32bit.bmp.
Now, go to Photoshop and open the files tex_volume_dot.32bit.bmp and tex_volume_bar.32bit.bmp
I will not show you how to change the Icons, since each person likes something different, so just temper around with the shapes and colors of the dot and bar.
Once you are done, we will save it as a 32 bit bmp file and an 8bit bmp file. So lets do File --> Save as...
Name it whatever you want, as long as the Format is under BMP
Press the save button and you should get the following window:
Dont change anything, Press OK. This will be our 32 bit image.
Now we will make the same image as an 8 bit image. Go to Mode --> Indexed Color...
Follow these options and press OK
Now again, go to File --> Save as...
Press Save and another windows should popup
Make sure it is on 8bit, and press OK
Ok, we are almost done. Make a new folder called "Renamed Icons" and place your new made volume icons in the folder.
Now, rename the files to what they used to be
Ok, now go back to your RCOEdit and press the "Replace Multiple..." Button.
A windows should popup, so now select your "Renamed Icons" folder and press OK
Do the same thing for the Volume Bar icon, since it is the same process.
