This is a competition to show off your PSP theme making capabilities. You don’t need to be a top notch artist, designer, photoshop user (or similar program) to make your own xmb theme. But it does help to know the basics.

To make the competition a little bit more interesting, the competition will be themed. So I have decided that the theme for this competition will be sci-fi orientated. It could be a tv show, film or cartoon/anime.

“What type of themes can I enter?” I hear you ask. Well…The competition is open to flash, .ptf and .ctf themes.

For every successful entry into the competition, you will receive 500 credits. And your name will be automatically entered into a free prize draw, for a chance to win a one month's account with Rapidshare.

And for the winners of the competition, they will each receive the following:-
Flash theme: 4,000 credits, coloured user name and a custom user title (Contest winner usergroup).
PTF theme: 2,000 credits, coloured user name and a custom user title (Contest winner usergroup).
CTF theme: 2,000 credits, coloured user name and a custom user title (Contest winner usergroup).

HOW TO ENTER
Take a screenshot/s of your theme and post it along with what type of theme it is eg. flash, .ptf or ctf theme.

The closing date for the competition will be 14/05/2008 and the person with the most votes (in the section that they have entered) will be the winner.

And as always, with any competition, unfortunately there are rules:-
1. each custom theme must be original and made by the person entering the competition.
2. the theme must not be posted on any other forum or site before entering this competition. If the theme is found on another forum or site, then it will be discarded from the competition. We will be looking.
3. one entry per member.
4. the competition will run for 30 days.
5. as the competition is themed (sci-fi), any other xmb theme that is entered, will be discarded from the competition.
6. voting. One vote per member. A list of what themes have been voted on will be displayed in my next post.
7. only the screenshot of the theme is to be entered before the closing date. A link to your theme (from our download section) must be added when the competition has ended.
8. as a condition on receiving the winning prize or the 500 credits and entry into the free prize draw, every theme that has been entered must be uploaded to our download section on completion of the competition and not before. No credits or prizes will be given if the theme is not uploaded within three days of the end date of the competition.
9. If the winning theme is not upload within three days of the end of the competition, the prize will go to the second place uploaded theme.
10. only members with over 25 post can enter the competition.

ok...to start the ball rolling, i have made a simple .ptf theme. i have only replaced the main icons (settings, picture etc and the mem card).



as you can see, it's a Stargate Atlantis theme and i have made the main characters of the show, as the main icons and the Stargate in Atlantis, as the memory card icon.
