Just Ordered a Wiikey with Wiiclip, NO SOLDERING!!

yea, finally there is a solderless solution to getting a wii modchip, and from what i have heard its awesome and reliable and really simple

so yea £40 later, im happy and cant wait to install it when it gets here

Is it just as good as a wiikey soldered?

My dad told me where I can get a wiikey for £4.50 (and free postage....was £6 when he ordered one a while back) and he'll solder it for me. But shipping .

Or they have the solderless option, for £25. But, have no idea which is the better option - more reliable.

But if ya say it works fine, I might get one lol . Sure I can do that even if I can't solder .

yea, alot of people have saids though that i can be unreliable, as in it comes loose or shorts out, but i have never had an issue so far

for me it was a case of:

. Spend 15 mins installing
. Make sure i had all the disks burned (wiikey setup)
. once installed, run wiikey setup using GCOS (Gamecube Linux)
. boot backup, and it worked with no problems at all

took me about 40 mins in all from start to finish and now its all done, its so easy

so yea, im reccomending it

So you can boot Wii, GC, and all the other shizz from a flash drive or anything like that? Can you also play burned Wii games? I might buy one of these
