Ghostbusters Coming to Wii Next Fall

Some of my boyhood heroes, The [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], are coming to a gaming console near you. The protectors of New York City from the paranormal are getting a new video game for the Wii, DS, PS2, PS3, and the Xbox 360.

The Ghostbusters are back in an all new story penned by the original creators! With Manhattan newly overrun by ghosts and other supernatural creatures, it’s up to you to take on the role of new recruit joining the original film cast of the famous Ghostbusters team. Equipped with a variety of unique weapons and gadgets, you will hunt, fight and capture a wide range of uncanny phantasms and demons in an all new funny and frightening battle to save New York City from the latest paranormal plague.

It’s looking like at the moment they only have screenshots up for the Xbox 360 version of the game… but hopefully the Wii ones will follow soon.
I wonder if they’ll have a “[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]” attachment for the Wii… if not I’m sure some after market company will make something similar.


For me, I think the Wii controls are ideal for this style of game… what do you think?

After i seen the trailer i went to download all the movies again. . . anyway hope this game is going to be good. Also it could be a call to a new ghost busters movie! (cosses fingers but noes it is not going to happen ) hope they take full advantage of the PS3's and Wii's fetshurs.

Anyway nice if it showed you more in the trailer.

I am so excited for this game! I'm probably gonna get the PS3 version.

I just picked up The Real Ghostbusters volume 1 on dvd from WalMart to hold me over till the game's release! The first 30 episodes of the series plus tons of special features should keep me entertained until this finally comes out in a couple weeks

I used to watch the real ghostbusters everyday when i was growing up. i can't believe they finally released it on DVD. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow and get myself pumped up for the game!! only a few days left.
