I've been playing Zelda for about 6 hours total now.
I've completed the first two temples, so can't give a full opinion on the complete game, but so far I have had great fun. I haven't played any Zelda games since Ocarina on the N64, and this stands up pretty well.

The Twilight world throws in a good twist, and running around as a wolf and using your senses and your claws/teeth adds a new element to the gameplay.

I feel that the bow/boomerang work really well with the Wiimote, it is so much easier to quickly aim and throw/shoot where you want. The sword actions are a bit rough round the edges, but hey, it still kind of does what you expect. I've not got any other items so can't really comment on their usage.

Graphics, well they could probably have been better, but like others have said, this is a Gamecube game, maybe the next Zelda will be made for the Wii. However, some points in the game really do look great, there are some really nice water effects, and the artistic style works well. Some of the characters show really great emotion on their faces on the close ups. With such a great story (so far) and an excellent game engine, the graphics really aren't that important.

I have found the bosses/sub bosses a bit too easy, the game is very linear. Follow path to dungeon, enter dungeon, solve puzzles to open chest and collect item, use item on boss. But you know what, it is STILL enjoyable. I've had a few of those moments where you are stuck and feel like throwing the control at the screen (if you haven't accidently done this already with Wii sports bowling! ), only to realise the solution to the puzzle is sitting right in front of me.

The only niggle I have is that they made Link right handed. I would have loved the option to flip the controls, as this keeps with the older games (and I am left handed too).

This game is the reason I bought a Wii and it hasn't disappointed so far...

One of the best games I've played, not sure if it is better than Ocarina yet, I'll have to finish it and report back.


9/10 so far (this could change depending on how the rest of the game pans out)

I'm still umming and arrring over getting this game. Cuz it really isn't the type of game I'd play. But after seein the ads, and the reviews, it really is growing on me.

this game was awesome.i liked the way that they made ganondorf look in this one.I didn't think that this game would do so good with the wiimote(aside from fishing and aiming.)but nintendo proved me wrong, thankfully.The boss fights were awesome too. 10/10 to me.i cant really think of ways to make this game any better.

Haha, I got the superior Gamecuve version!

Nah J/K, it really is a great game. I'd give it a 8/10. Definately one of the best.

i greatly reconmend it. it's one of the best games i have ever played.
