Review >> Moh Vanguard And Pop Rs

Hello! i just recently bought medal of honor vanguard and also prince of persia rival swords for the nintendo Wii, and heres wat i think of both of them.

Medal of Honor Vanguard

Gameplay - 7/10
The way the game is set out and the fact that its another WWII FPS game is somewhat cliche, i mean I have played every single MOH game and COD game and to tell u the truth, its nothing different, although it is very enjoyable in every aspect the only new addition is the 180 degree turn while moving the nunchuck to the side, which is sometimes annoying when u scratch ur nose with ur left hand and then u move 180 degrees and u die cause someone from behind killed u.

Controls - 7.5/10
The controls are very similar to all FPS game on the nintendo Wii, its smooth and the accuracy is very admirable, it will not get u frustrated if u have played Red Steel or COD3 before. The only bit that got me just a little frustrated was when u throw a grenade and when u hold the THROW button u cannot aim, ur CROSSHAIR stays in one spot.

Replay Value - 6/10
The game is very short, it only took me 6 hours and 30 minutes to clock, (on easy) and i have to admit, it is a lot shorter then COD3 and RED STEEL but around the same lengh as FAR CRY. After beating the game u can replay all the levels again if u wish, but to tell u the truth i wouldnt repeat any of them. Once u have defeated this game u would see no point in playing it again. The only reason why u would keep this game is for multiplayer with ur mates.

Graphics - 8/10
The graphics is better then call of duty 3, some of the textures are actually smoothen unlike some areas of call of duty 3 and the graphics are far better then FAR CRY but probably stay in the same league as RED STEEL. You see the sun shine within windows which is cool and probably why people think that this games GRAPHICS is soo good. But its still no up to Wii standards and i think the Wii is capable of handling far greater textures. It still feels like xbox graphics to me and not Wii graphics. But if your a graphics geek and prefer graphics over gameplay then u would probably hire this game and find out for urself if u would like to buy it.

Sound - 8/10
The music goes very well in this game, even though sometimes i dont pay attention to it, now and then i notice myself taping to the beat. It goes great with the World War 2 scenario and gives u a sense of heroic duty.

Over All 7.5/10
This game does have some areas where it shines, it is straight forward and doesnt require any mental thinking to beat. Although it is a fun shoot em up this game would probably have been better if it was release earlier during the Wii's launch date. Considering that it is released months after the Wii has been launch makes me wonder if this is the best the Wii has to offer, i sure hope not. But to tell you the truth this game does deserve a HIRING, it would take u only one night to clock. The game was fun while it lasted.

Prince of Persia Rival Swords

Gameplay - 8/10
This game was a bit of a disappointment to me due to the fact that i have played all the Prince of Persia trilogy and have defeated all of them. The fact that it disappoints me is because of the games NAME shouldn't have been changed so that consumers think that they are actually buying a game that has something different to it. This game is exactly the same as The Two thrones and so far i havent noticed anything different. Nothing at all. I loved the prince of persia games and i love this one on the nintendo Wii, if you havent played any of the other prince of persia games i still recommend picking this one up or at least hiring it due to the sheer pleasure of it being such a great adventure game.

Controls - 7/10
The controls are surprisingly not very difficult, i mean i thought i was going to have a hard time swinging and walking on walls at the same time but i was quite shocked to how well the controls worked with the movement of the prince. It is very unique and the reasons why i bought this game was to find out how different this game would be if i was the one actually swinging the sword. It is abit similar to Zelda Twiilight princess but you can actually wield 2 swords which is your nunchuck and your wiimote. Now and then i would find it difficult to complete the speed kill because sometimes i would accidently move my hand up and get the timing wrong. But im sure those people who can keep there hands very steady and still would have no problems with this game at all. If you're un-coordinated i recommend u hire this game first, i noticed my sister having a hard time moving the prince because shes un-co.... lol

Replay Value - 6/10
This game is an adventure game, once you've beaten it the only reason why u would want to play it again is because your bored brainless and that you have nothing else to do. It is a very long game and would get u thinking very hard. The puzzles are not hard but then they do get u thinking abit.

Graphics - 8/10
The graphics once again reminds me off an xbox game, it is better then playstation 2 but no where near the standards that ps3 or xbox 360 are pulling off. Once again if you are a graphics geek then u would probably be better off playing the two thrones on xbox. But once again i didnt buy this game for the graphics, i bought it for the controls and the pleasure of decapitating people with a swing of a fist. The graphics are probably of Zelda Twiilight princess standards, this game does support Enhance Definition and High definition 480p. So if u have one of those televisions then i guess this game would look sharper and better. But the textures in this game are still sharp and is probably like playing the two thrones on the computer with graphics set to high.

Sound - 8/10
I love the music with this game! it goes soo well with the persian theme. Although i did enjoy the rock theme that Prince of Persia warrior within has this game follows somewhat similar to the Prince of persia and the Sands of time music. It does have a little rock but that is rarely, the music is great and it suits the game.

Over All - 8/10
This game reminded me off why i loved the entire prince of persia trilogy, and the nintendo Wii brings u closer to the prince then u ever have thought possible. If you have played the prince of persia games before and loved them then go buy this one, it wont disappoint (unless you have defeated the two thrones and expected something different from rival swords). I havent played Rival swords on PSP yet but i heard that gets more new features then the Wii version. If you dont know what prince of persia is then go hire this game, and if your un-coordinated then im sure this game is not for u.

Re: Review >> Moh Vanguard And Pop Rs

I can't believe i didn't see these reviews, great reviews. I'm probably going to end up buying the Prince of persia for wii game as it looks, and sounds like it's going to be a fun game
