The Wii - Introduction To Its Beauty

Wii Welcome You! > Like It? Give me thanks! It Took A While!

Introducing WII > As a nintendo representative i think this is my duty to tell you about wii!

Welcome To The Game - Chapter 1

Video games have evolved in many ways since the nintendo entertainment system™ found a home in living rooms around the world. They've become more sophisticated and, in many cases, much more complicated. But they dont' have to be complicated. Nintend has sparked a revolution in entertainment by creating games that anyone can pick up and play. What makes them so accessible? The innovative wii remote™. Pick it up. Turn on the Wii™. You'll discover that video games have finally caught you.

The Wii Remote

Point it!
Thanks to a sensor bar that sits on your TV, the wii remote can be used as a precise pointing tool. Move cursors and objects on the screen with the flick of your wrist.

Move It!
Whenever you swing, shake, or tilt the wii remote, onboard sensors are paying attention.

Click it!
The wii remot's layout is flexible enought to handle most gaming tasks-and often the big A button is all you need.

Wii Is Many MIIS!
"Wii has many faces and they belong to the miis. Create them, share them, play with them"

Every game console needs a mascot, and wii's mascot is YOU ... and everyone you know. On the Mii™ channel, you can create characters using a simple editing tool, then have them parade across your screen, or use them in some of the games you play. Using a FRIEND CODE™ a special number assigned to each wii-you can even send your miis to another wii console. You can start making miis right after you hook up the system.

Introducing GAMES!

Swing for the fences... - Chapter 2.

You've probably played a sports game before, but have you ever felt like you were actually playing the game? Wii Sports™ uses the motion sensors inside th wii remote to simulate the actual sport being played onscreen. Chock up on the Wii Remote™ and swing away like a major-leauger. Unleash a killr backhand. Ask for complete silence as you tap in a game-winning putt! Wii Sports™ streamlines the experience to put your in the middle of the action! There's plenty of room for you to improve and excel, but anybody can jump on in and compete

...or Just play around

^"Wii Sports™ strips games down to their essence. Baseball is a duel between the pitcher and the batter. Tennis involves long, acrobatic volleys. Boxing is all about dodging, covering up and jabbing."

If you feel like putting down your racket and clubs for a while. Try picking up a few of the casual games avaliable in Wii Play™ Its nine simple activities, that offer a diversion for anyone! From would-be pool sharks to armchair soldiers. When you want to move onto new challenges, Wii has you covered: its ever grwoing library runs the gamut from wacky party games to earth shaking adventures!

A Link to the Past - Chapter 3

Innovative games are nothing new for Nintendo™. Head for the online Wii™ shop channel and Virtual Console™, to sample some landmark achievements in gaming histroy for yourself. There are piles of classic games avaliable on the virtual console and additional games are added EACH WEEK! Rediscover well-loved titles like Super Mario Bros™ or try out games you may have missed out on the first time around, like The legend of Zelda™: Orcarina of time or Kid Icarus™. All the games you buy are stored in the Wii's database, so you can play them whenever you like!

Re: The Wii - Introduction To Its Beauty

the wii sucks the fact that console companies like sony and microsoft dont share information with each other only the ones who have made more software will be able to design powerful consoles, since nintendo doesnt make any software they are left in the dust when it come to performance the only thing decent about the wii is the fact that it takes sd cards wich you could buy a 4GB sd for the same price as a 64mg for the 360. this is because they actually profit of each console sold unlike losing money. The wii was legendary before it was released
