| Rock Band Review Story: You are a Rock Star in a band (you can pretty much tell that by the title). If you have played any of the Guitar Hero games, the storyline is the same. For those of you that do not know Guitar Hero: You start of in a create-a-character mode. You then jump right in to playing songs. You start off in a simple place and work you way up. The storyline, overall, is pretty nonexistant, though. Story: 5/10 Graphics: For the purposes the game serves, the graphics are amazing. They are not the main part of the game, but they are very well done. Details of the instruments are very articulate, particuarly the drums. Graphics: 9/10 ![]() Sound: This game provides probably the most excellent sound of any game I have ever played. The crowd sounds are very diverse. As for the music, it has been perfected. The controls do not make clinky sounds. The song choices are excellent. I suggest using a home theatre system with this game. Sound: 10/10 Controls: Guitar: Controls are perfectly positioned. Keys are not hard to move, and no clinky sound is made by strumming. However, if you play 4 or 5 songs, yur wrist begins to ache. Bad. Still, that can be avoided through short rest periods between songs. Guitar controls: 8/10 Drums: These controls are easy to use, but the setup seems very unstable. It ill rattle and flex at the points where the pads are connected. Just don't try to destroy the drums and you'll be fine. Drum controls: 8/10 Microphone: I hope this doesn't need explaining. Microphone controls: 10/10 Overall controls: 9/10 Gameplay: In this game, you play the guitar, drums, and sing in the microphone. You can do this together, or you can do it apart. Gamerscore is pretty straightforward and easy to aquire. On top of that, it's just fun. Gameplay: 10/10 ![]() Difficulty: This game has a range of modes you can play. Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert are the levels of difficulty. It is well balanced for anyone of any talent. Difficulty: 10/10 Multiplayer: Multiplayer for this game is incredibly fun. You can come together as a band in any combination of guitar, drums, and microphone. You can play on XBOX Live or offline with friends. Rock Band has redefined multiplayer. Multiplayer: 10/10 ![]() Replay value: This game cannot be put down. You will look forward to beating the game on the next difficulty each time. Plus, you can buy bonus tracks off of XBOX Live directly from your XBOX 360. Friends will love Rock Band. This game will probably not need a sequel, but if it does have one, it will not be regretted. Replay Value: 9/10 Overall: This may be one of the best games you ever play. With an amazing combination of multiplayer, career, and sound, this game is nearly perfect. Granted, the price is much too high, but you will definetely get you money's worth out of it. Final Score: 9/10 ![]()
