i was trying to get my 360 connected to my xp pc so i could stream media through the xbox but can't seem to work. does it only work for xp media center windows?

u need media center edition, like me!
i just got it

i dont have the link anymore
and for those of u that didnt know, windows media center edition is a whole operating system, not just some program u can install, u have to know what ur doing before u decide to try it, if u dont know what i mean by this, then dont bother looking for it

how do u play movies form your ipod to the console it doesnt seem to read it but the music does work just cant get the movies to read on the ipod

you can't unless it's in *.wmv format. the 360 wasn't designed to handle any other codec (such as *.mp4). not yet anyways

u can stream without wmc but try doing it through a router rather then straight to your comp

I never really gave it a thought to stream media to my 360 until I came across this thread. Now I have WXP Home edition and I followed the instructions on the link you put and It worked like a charm. Thanx bro!
