Yes, it's either a creditcard or the Pre-paid cards which are being sold at all game shops.

If you have a working ethernet cable attached you get "Xbox Silver", which lets you have friends, download stuff, and purchase gamerpics, themes, and arcade games. All of this is nice, but what you really want is "Xbox Gold" Which is all of this and acess to online games. Theres nothing better than getting a headshot on your friend in Call of Duty 2 with a Kar 98 k. The connection is great and in most cases nothing lags if you have a high speed internet connection. If you plan to play online definitally get Call of Duty 2. Its the best game out now.
