| GamingCrazy Rookie ![]() | Rigging a 360 hard drive I did some looking round, and I think it's possible to rig a sata disk to run on a 360 coz a 360 drive is just a sata drive fitted with an sata+power to 360 adapter can anyone confirm this Closest I can figure is I could buy a smaller drive, take it apart, and copy the filesystem across to a larger drive then put the larger drive in the HD case

| GamingCrazy Rookie ![]() | Re: Rigging a 360 hard drive I turns out that there a program which will alter sectors 16 to 21 on a hard drive allowing replacement of a 20Gb (13Gb actually) with a larger drive as long as it is consistant with with 360 HDD e.g.40Gb 80Gb 120Gb And if I recall it also requires a certain file from the target size HDD an hddss.bin file ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
