| Guest | Gahh, sata port not showing Trying to flash my 360.......................copy & paste ftw ![]() Ok, so, i bought this - [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - for my laptop, so i could flash my 360.....................it didnt work. Wouldnt show up after typing dsam XXXXXXX XXXXX found out that it was cuz it was a silicon chipset, so i bought a VIA VT6421A pci card ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) and plugged it into my computer. As I heard that was the best/most recommended one to have. So, i redo all the files - samsung.ixtreme.1.4 firmware, using iprep following the intructions from the noobs guide to hacking the 360..............put the files on USB. Start PC up etc as it says, type in the dsam and serial number, and get "No Driver Found" The drivers are install for the via pic card and shows up in device manager. I've got on board sata ports on my computer too, but, also, won't work, as I've read theyre incompatible with it as its ICH7 chipset. I'm banging my head against a wall here. Every time I think I've got it sorted, it still doesn't show. I've learnt my serial code off by heart now too ![]() Would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me, lemme know where I'm going wrong. I think I've given all the info needed, but if anything else ya need to know, just lemme know and i'll tell ya ![]() (btw, no option in bios to disable raid - I'm wondering if theres an option im missing in the bios - the bios im using is award bios) Thanks |

| Guest | Re: Gahh, sata port not showing Lol, i was gonna edit/post again here earlier ![]() I got it working in the end. I tried all 4 sata ports on me ICH7 thingy, but I'd only tried 2 of the 3 of the VIA. Couldnt see the third from the angle I was at and didnt look too much at it when installing it .But yeah, i got it working, and got it flashed. Done the one part over and over so many times could do it with ma eyes closed, so when it went to the next bit, i screamed with excitement - and a bit scaredness too, cuz i needed instructions then lol ![]() |
