
The PSP homebrew game, PSPShootOuts has been released just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2006. The game is a Football/Soccer penalty shootout game that is coded in Lua and available for PSP firmware versions, 1.50 and 1.00. The version of the game for firmware 1.00 will also work on firmwares which support the eLoader.

Bugs Fixed since the initial beta released:
- Now the game does not freeze
- No more weird lines when you shoot
- Fixed graphics
- No more loading errors
New Features:
- Better images and music
- Animations
- Screenshots available via ’select’
- You can fail in the shots
- Addition of sounds when you shoot
- Song selection
- New characters
- Score viewer
- And some more
Some new updates are planned for the homebrew game which should use features such as the PSP’s analog functions and the ability to choose to be either the goalkeeper or the player.
