Bounty Hounds Rocks the PSP: Preview and Image Gallery

fter a couple months of delays, Bandai Namco has rescheduled its PSP versus action RPG Bounty Hounds for a September 21, 2006 release in Japan, for 5040 yen. The game is developed by XPEC Entertainment. In the game you can acquire both short range and long range weapons, such as slicer, sawed, machine gun, laser gun and so on, there are 500 different weapons in total.
Bounty Hounds support two types of WiFi versus play modes, one is VS UMD User, which requires both parties to have a copy of the game. In this mode you can use characters you raised from the story mode and customized equipment. The second type is VS Mode, which only requires one copy of the game, but you can only use default characters and equipment.
Story: Hundreds of years into the future, Terraforming has made it possible for humans to colonize other places - and thus for humanity to encounter Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ETI.) War ensued over the acquisition and conquest of planets, which lead to employment of mercenaries who would scout planets deemed fit for habitation. The band of these ruthless mercenaries was called Bounty Hounds.
As Maximillian, the leader of Bounty Hounds, your mission is to battle different alien species spread across planets. With a variety of new weapons and items as well as Wi-Fi play to match up against a friend.
This is yet another awesome psp exclusive game, and it has some awesome concepts in it. Luckily it also lets you play 2 player even if you dont own two UMD’s. The graphics look pretty awesome, and intense. Take a look at the screenshots:








This game will be one to look out for, it seems to be one of the most CPU intensice games i have seen since coded arms, lets just hope the game play turns out as good as the graphics are!
