Monster Hunter Portable 2nd is currently one the top selling game in Japan, and with over 750k of sales its making headway for more fame. Today it became a platinum hit, and to add to that it’s Capcom’s first for the PSP.

Also due to the amazing sales of Monster Hunter Portable 2nd the PSP console itself has spiked in sales to making over 100k of sales this week topping the Wii console, and fighting side by side to the Nintendo DS which has sold 136k so far this week.
