New Final Fantasy: Crisis Core Details and Screens Released

Square Enix revealed new details on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP, the game will be released in Japan on September 13, 2007:

  • A limited edition Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Pack will be released on the same day, which includes the theme song CD "Why" from Ayaka, and a bottle of Shinra Potion (sports drink).
  • The battles are in real time, you can attack, guard and dodge attacks
  • There is a HP, MP and AP gauge, AP determines the defensive action you take in battles, which slowly replenish during battle
  • You can use the shoulder button to toggle between attack and materia (healing, magic spells, etc)
  • Characters have real time facial animation in both CG movies and realtime cutscen
