You’re not dreaming, this is 100% real

Team N00bz has succefully reverse engineered the service mode found on the 1.50 firmware eboot, and have come out with their own legal version. The unbricker was originally discovered on a leaked PSP unbricker software service mode found on a MS that was accidently sent to someone after sending in their bricked PSP, but team N00bz! C+D was able to make their own without it.
USAGE
- Insert Memory Stick into the PSP
- Remove power cord and insert the JigKick Battery into the PSP.
- A menu appears when the PSP boots. Follow the onscreen information
- and instructions.
Titled Pandora’s Battery, this does 3 things.
- It turns a regular battery into a jigkick battery to enable the recovery. This step must be done on a homebrew enabled PSP, so you might need to borrow a friends if yours is bricked. Also you will want to do this to an extra battery since this will render it useless when using it normally.
- You run a program on your computer with the 1.50 eboot to create the unbricker image for the memory stick.
- Runs some programs to install the unbricker on a spare memory stick.
This originally came about with Team N00bz! C+D(Create and Destroy) decided to create a de-bricker for those who bricked their PSPs with a release of M33 CFW that had faulty decryption algorithm. They accomplised it by:
- Reverse engineering of the service (unbrick) mode
- Development of a technique to change an ordinary battery into a service mode trigger battery (and back)
- Development of custom IPL code along with a technique to sign that code as authentic
This was supposed to be released at the launch of the PSP Slim, but was leaked and was being used for profit around the world, so N00bz! released the public version.
