Once again, Royale has quickly updated this homebrew application ’PSP Maps’ to v.4, adding many important features this time around, including the ability to browse the maps while offline. Here is the official changelog:

PSP-Maps 0.4 changes:

• added a cache on the memory stick
• allows offline browsing of maps in the cache
• added a configuration file
• added options to disable disk cache and transition effects
• added an error image when view is not available
• better zoom level (thanks to elefas for the tip)
   

If you don’t know what this program is, it is a ’port’ of Google Maps on the PSP, which typically requires a wifi connection to be able to view the maps. It’s pretty interesting, give it a shot.
