Typically, Royale is pretty quick at patching and updating his homebrew. As a matter of fact, he had updated his previoud builds within a week. We’ve gone more than that since the release of v.6, so was it worth it? Here is the official changelog:
- added Windows version to the release
- added Google Maps and Yahoo Maps! hybrid views
- added Virtual Earth hill view
- added a list of available views in the menu
- new icon and screenshot
- joystick should be less sensitive and more precise
- added optional on-screen informations (lat/lon/zoom/view)
- geocoding now uses maps.google.com (and not .fr)
- load balancing between Google Maps server)
- menu updated (smaller font, nicer coding)
- readme file was updated
Oh yes, it certainly was worth it! Adding a significant amount of content, PSP Maps now allows users more optiosn and features, the most significant ones being the first of the three in the log.
As it (should have) always been, read the readme before attempting installation or execution of any PSP homebrew.
