No new PSP firmware version has been released featuring some GPS support for the PSP, but some GPS software has been released called Minna no Chizu (Everyone’s Map) at a price of 3.990 Yen ( around $34 USD ). The program works manually since there is no GPS support for the PSP yet, and features maps of the whole of Japan and requires firmware 2.60. Major areas can reach a zoom level of 0 (1CM on screen equals 25M) , while less populated areas can only zoom to 1CM per 100M. Future add-on packs will probably be released for this software and include points of interests like restaurants. Although this program is manual, you can still use it to find your way around until GPS support is released for the PSP.
